Joe and his wife, Amy have been married for 26 years. Before coming to Soddy, he taught 20 years in the school system (elementary) and began preaching locally in 2016 and also served as a deacon and youth director in Villa Rica, GA. Joe attended the Memphis School of Preaching and graduated in June of 2024 and began his work with us at Soddy in July of 2024. Joe and Amy homeschool and are blessed with five amazing children. Their oldest, Caden, is married to his wife Grace. Caden and Grace just became parents with the birth of their son, Ford. Caden is the minister for the Springer church of Christ in Hohenwald, TN. Brennan, Joe and Amy’s second son, is the minister for the Chattanooga Valley church of Christ in Flinstone, GA. Camp, their third son is sixteen. Betty May, their only girl, is ten years old and Rowan, the youngest (six years old), is their fifth child.
